it's time for another paul walker post.

so i'm in the middle of a fast and furious marathon (don't judge).

seriously paul walker, can you please stop being so incredibly attractive? and can you please tell your eyes to stop piercing into my soul? and can you please stop having just the right amount of scruff? it isn't good for my heart.

well paul, if you can't stop any of the above, can you please never stop making these fast and furious movies? i'd really appreciate it.

sending you huge amounts of love right now,
paige

"oooah oo oo ah oooah oo oo ah oooah oo oo ah"
yeah, that's how it goes.

remember when i said

that i was going to work out while i watched the bachelor last night but i ate a giant bowl of this ice cream instead?

i have no regrets.

lady trip

back in september we thomas ladies took a little trip to new york. it mainly consisted of walking and shopping, with a few meals in between.

yes, that is tom selleck.

view from our hotel in soho.

outside the forever 21 in time square. it has five levels!!!

freedom tower

brooklyn flea

dinner at ditch plains. sorry mama, you're a little washed out in this one.

should i have maybe bought some more?
i may have left with shin splints and my sisters only made me cry once - getting dressed for church is hard!

but it was really great to spend time together and explore the city (by 'city' i mean 'every h&m'). we're pretty lucky to have each other. :)

lucy and winston

"i'm lucy and i always look like i'm going to cry. i miss my family :("
"i'm winston and i bark at dogs on tv. i don't really seem to know what's going on. but i do know that i like to eat."
"we like to be touching paige AT ALL TIMES. we also like to make her let us sleep in her bed and sleep right up against her while snoring and snorting like pigs all night."
"and we like to follow her around and just stare at her. can you tell us when our family is coming back?"
so i am dog/house sitting right now and have been since last friday. i just am not an animal lover. i think that these dogs are cute, but i just don't have it in me to hold and touch dogs all day. i can't handle the hair. oh the hair, it is driving me crazy. i took them on a walk on saturday though, that was nice, right?
treats 'n snoozin. but seriously, that's all they do.

*i just want everyone to know that i would never hurt or be mean to an animal. i just don't really want to touch them or sleep with them. but i will if i have to!

hart of dixie

i don't know if you're watching hart of dixie yet, but maybe you should.
i don't know if it's just because of my infatuation with rachel bilson, but i'm kind of obsessed. every time i watch it i just want to pick up and move to bluebell, alabama (can you tell that utah and i are having a hard time right now?). and even if you're not really into the show you can at least watch for the styling.

for example:
and these aren't even the best ones! she seriously always looks so good - hair, clothes, shoes, everything. jaime king's southern belle styling is pretty cute too, especially her makeup. and i think the show is pretty fun, just a light hearted show about a small town in alabama.... precious.

this isn't from the show, but here's another one for good measure.
dear rachel,

when i move to california this summer can we please be best friends? we can have bonfires on the beach, go to lunch, go shopping and do pretty much whatever the h we want. i think it sounds pretty great too. call me!

see ya soon,
paige

moving on

look at this forecast for salt lake:
now look at this forecast for newport beach, ca:
now that is my kind of winter. doesn't that just look so nice?

i'll admit that this winter has been pretty mild and that forecast isn't too bad for january. BUT i can't take it anymore. i am over winters. i am over going outside and feeling cold. i am over salt lake county's inversion that makes everything ugly. i've said this in winters past, but i really mean it this time - this is going to be my last winter in utah.

i have decided to move to southern california. i really don't like living in utah and don't have a very good reason to continue - other than a good job and friends, but i'm sure i can find another good job and my friends can visit me (or move with me...) and i'll make new ones too.

it will be a fun adventure and it will be new. i need something new. new is scary and exciting all at the same time. and i haven't really had to do that in a looong time.

now i need your help. where is the best place for a single lds girl to live? i would prefer one of the towns that has a beach in it. like newport beach, laguna beach, huntington beach, etc. mainly because that is what i know from tv. and when i've been there they seem like really nice places to live. how do i go about this? i've only lived in provo and my sister's basement....

who wants to move there with me and embark on this journey together? who wants to help me find a job or knows of something that will be opening up in the next couple months? help me please!

CALIFORNIA!!!!!! here i come!

now that's a promise!

while i agree with this statement to a certain extent, i'm not sure why this is and other statements like "be your own valentine" or "exercise your heart today" are considered promises.

maybe instead of calling their chocolates "promises," they should call them "phrases that appeal to women."
