mama came to town!

i was lucky enough to have my mom come into town this weekend. my family lives in colorado, so it is always a treat when i get to spend time with them. we had a grand old time shopping, going to movies and eating delicious ice cream. i had a lot of fun and i miss my mama, i really miss my family!

this is my family, the only person missing is my brother-in-law, david. not my favorite picture, but it is the most recent one of all of us. aren't my nieces and nephew precious? love those babies.

roomie reunion

i got to go to lunch yesterday with two of roommates from last year, sarah zenonian and breanna meldrum. it was really fun to reminisce and catch up.


our our fourth roommate, stacy jean bingham, left us in the middle of the year to go back to "amazing" arkansas. she is still there and refuses to move back provo, so she was unable to join us for our tasty lunch at costa vida (which they do not have in arkansas--reason enough to move back here). poor, poor stace face.

i was going through some of the photos that i took in malibu this summer, then i thought "hey i could put these on my blog."

sundance

the sundance film festival was in park city this past week and i went up with a couple friends, sarah layton and chris hulme. it was pretty fun and FREEZING! we mainly just walked around, looked for celebrities, saw colin farrell, went to a party in a little boutique called mary jane's, and drank hot chocolate. after sundance, we saw the movie juno, i am in love with this movie! it was my second time seeing it and it is seriously my new favorite movie, if you haven't seen it yet, you need to!

i am OBSESSED with this website, picnik.com. it is for editing and playing around with your photos, it's all i've been doing the past three days and it is becoming a little ridiculous/it the best thing to ever happen to me. it is sooo jazzy.
