in case you were wondering

st. george was glorious. we (andrea, aaron, and me) drove down after work on friday night and came back late saturday night. i had never been there before and i quite enjoyed myself. the weather was beautiful - though i did not come back as a bronze goddess, in spite of all my efforts. apparently miracles don't happen in two hours at the pool. sigh...

we went to our friend jared's parents' house and it was seriously amazing. i am inviting myself down there again just so i can take pictures of it because i was too lazy to walk to the car and get my camera.

this was the most interesting picture we took the whole 24 hours.
the outlets in st. george are terrible. don't waste your time.
i guess i can call myself a true utahn now because i vacationed in st. george. i have mixed feelings about this.

and maybe i hit a girl with my car on the way home from church yesterday.

perfection

according to weather.com the forecast for st. george on saturday is...
84 degrees and sunny

so i'm just going to take a little 24 hour jaunt down there to lay by a pool. i don't think i can think of anything more perfect.

the beginning of the end

one time in fifth grade, a really cute boy came up to me in the library and asked me if i liked him.

i edited a line from sixteen candles and said...

"i'd rather puke twice and die."

i actually did like him. a lot.

stuck on repeat

i can't get enough of these songs.

yes, i know that this video is of someone's vacation or something and that it is kind of weird that i put it on here, but it was the best one i could find on vimeo and i like how their videos look better that youtube's. and i kind of like it. so sue me.

today is the sixth day of april.

that means that i walk for graduation in seventeen days.

and that i am thirty-eight days away from being twenty-three.

and that i leave for new york in thirty-nine days.

and that summer is so close that i can feel it. in spite of the freshly fallen snow outside my window.

sigh.

i know what you're thinking

and yes, i do live in the cutest apartment ever.
one might say it's "supes cute."

don't worry, i am going to make pillows that actually match. eventually.
i decided a little re-decorating was in order.
and yes, these pictures are out of focus.
and no, i don't care.

remember natalie imbruglia?

as i was driving home from crafting with brooke tonight, natalie imbruglia's song "leave me alone" came on my ipod and i couldn't help but listen.
remember when you were thirteen and played dolls in your bedroom while listening to her album left of the middle for hours on end? what? did i just say thirteen? i meant eight, who plays with dolls until they are (at least) thirteen? that's weird.

moving on...

i was wondering what ever happened to natalie imbruglia? she is quite talented and supes cute with her short hair (i need to get hair off my mind) and slight sassiness. did she ever have a second album? did she breakup with david schwimmer because he is supes gay? is she living in her homeland of australia? was her song a hint and does she just want everyone to leave her alone?

these are all questions i would like answered. by you. now.

p.s. my home teacher was telling us about these girls that he knows that say "supes" all the time instead of "super" and how annoying he thinks it is...so we of course promptly added it into our vocabulary to annoy him, ourselves and everyone around us. you're welcome.
